We’re trying a new simpler entry system this year. Rather than paper tickets which are fiddly and easy to lose, we will give you a small round brightly coloured sticker.
For this we can thank Discount Sticker Printing who supplied all the stickers for both the Oxford and York Ceramic Fairs this year and gave us the idea in the first place. They have been an excellent partner to work with.
We are sad to say that due ill health Hilary Mayo is unable to exhibit at this year’s fair.
Happily, Kate Garwood is able to step into the breach at short notice. Kate’s domestic ware is the definition of refined simplicity and we’re sure it will be a hit with visitors.
23 years in and we have said goodbye to organisers John and Jude Jelfs who have finally retired the responsibility of getting the event together after so many years. We are happy to have John back as an exhibitor and hope he thinks we haven’t made too bad a fist of his legacy with this year’s event.
This is our second year at the new venue and based on last year’s experience we’ve been able to add some stands, meaning this year’s event has more exhibitors than ever before. We’ve also added more demonstrations to the programme and this year are happy to host Potter’s Question Time, of which more soon…
