I make thrown, altered and assembled vessels, with slab additions, in coarse-textured terracotta and black clays, using brushed slips and paper resist techniques to create cubist-inspired references to traditional pottery forms.

The work is biscuit fired and selectively stained, wax resisted and glazed with glossy clear and honey-coloured transparent glazes, before firing to 1125 c in an electric kiln.
