I work with white and red stoneware clays and throw pots ranging from large decorative pieces to functional tableware. I like to focus on crisp, finely thrown forms, accentuated with throwing marks, sometimes with added colour. Some pieces are thrown and then altered at the leather hard stage.
White clay pieces are glazed with a clear glaze and the red clay is glazed with white on the inside only. Firing takes place in an electric kiln to 1222 Celsius.
